Address: Colosseum: Piazza del Colosseo, 1, 00184 Rome RM, Italy. Castel Sant'Angelo: Lungotevere Castello, 50, 00193 Rome RM, Italy.
Closest landmark: The Colosseum stands beside the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill in Rome's historic center, while Castel Sant'Angelo rises on the Tiber a short walk from St. Peter's Basilica.
The two sites sit in different parts of central Rome and are not within walking distance of each other. The Colosseum has its own stop on metro Line B, while Castel Sant'Angelo is closest to the Line A stops of Ottaviano and Lepanto, so getting between them takes a change of metro line or a short taxi ride.
